Can women truly achieve work/life balance? If that question brings you feelings of guilt, shame off you! According to LEXI keynote speaker Rebecca Pomering, day-to-day work/life balance is a myth. Instead, we should strive for work/life “WOBBLE.”
This is only one of the many jewels of wisdom Rebecca Pomering, CEO of Moss Adams Wealth Advisors, shared at LEXI 2013 in Seattle.
5 Additional Challenges:
Define your legacy
Find meaning in your work
Advocate for yourself
Help other women (and men)
Years before the hype around the Lean-In book by Sheryl Sandberg, it has been the mission of LEXI to connect, equip and mentor women in both their professional and personal lives. One of our objectives this year was to connect women with leaders in the community who are rising to the top of their organizations and making a difference.
Rebecca was a perfect fit.
Rebecca Pomering spent eleven years as a management consultant with Moss Adams LLP and consulting to many of the most well-known wealth management firms in the country on business strategy and management.
