Engaging Your Personal Brand


What is Personal Brand?

In simple terms, a personal brand is how you make people FEEL when they interact with you. How do people “explain you” when you are not in the room? How are people experiencing YOU? Here is what is NOT personal brand: It is not a logo, your website, your blog or what you do for a living. Nope… it is not the clothes you wear, the car you drive, the city you live in, or the degrees and awards have on the wall. Sure, these things can be considered a part of your personal brand, however they are not, in and of themselves, a definition of your brand.

Let’s get together and define you values, vision, purpose… and identify your strengths. This will assist you in uncovering and sharing your (aka your brand’s) value promise. This promise will help people understand what they can expect when they deal with you. It will also assist them in easily connect you with others you share passions with or may be able to help in some way!

Branding for Leadership and Organizations…


What does this mean?

Organizations today must define and declare their purpose to be successful. Consumers want to be inspired to partner with you having a clear vision for them to connect with is imperative! Remember, it is how your brand meets the expectation of your customers that will define the true value by which your brand is measured.

We partner with executives to define their organization’s values, vision and purpose. We clarify and help tap into the social media platforms to build consumer engagement, amplify branding and marketing strategies, as well as help meet brand recognition and revenue generation goals.

Who should take it:

Executive Leadership

What you’ll get out of it:

Defined list of values for you to share with your employees and consumers

Understanding of where your company is today and a vision for where it is going

Overview of the social media platforms and how they can be harnessed in your business strategy

During the workshop you will:

Define your organizations values, vision, and purpose.

Maximize the social media platforms to amplify corporate branding and marketing strategies and meet brand-building and revenue generation goals

How it works:

You will partner with True Life Coaches Shandel Slaten and Debra Trappen.

The group meets 6 times, every other week for one hour over a 90-day period.

Each session, participants will celebrate their progress and successes.

On the off week, participants will check in with one other student on a one-on-one basis to provide maximum learning and accountability.

Branding for Teams…

What does this mean?

We know that organizations today must define and declare their purpose to be successful. Just as consumers want to be inspired to partner with companies, employees want to be inspired to work towards a shared vision! We have found that partnering with individual team members to share the organization’s vision, discover and define their personal brand, and apply that to the work at hand ensures they are motivated, productive, and positively engaged.

After we partner with business executives to define their organization’s brand (see Branding for Organizations) the team fun begins! We work with individual contributors to define their personal brand (values, vision, purpose) so they are able to deliver on the organization’s brand promise in a way that is authentic to them. We clarify how their participation in the social media platforms will amplify corporate branding and marketing strategies, as well as help meet brand recognition and revenue generation goals. This, in the end, builds a strong, success company everyone will be proud to be part of – for years to come!
